Summer hues of blushing pink and soft tones – oh how I have missed you so!
Having a baby doesn’t meet that you can’t dress in style anymore. No matter what your size is right now, take a look at the newest trends for Spring 2016.
Brush Off That Shoulder!
This spring season is calling for a little bit of this and a bit of that – but a lot of shoulder shrugs to show off those nice toned shoulders of yours! The shoulder cut outs in sweaters are anywhere from big to small, but no matter what size you are rocking, you can easily pair this top with any shade of jeans. Dress it up with a pair of culottes (see below) or wear it casually with a pair of ripped jeans and sneakers.
The Famous White Shirt
The sleek look is back! Grab an iron and create a crisp, clean look with the famous white dress shirt. Pair it up with your favourite fitted dress pants and a strand of pearls for that unforgettable evening look. The best thing about this shirt, is that its easy to throw on some denims with a pair of heels to achieve that “Im not trying but I still look good” look effortlessly. Wavy Hair or a High top bun will perfect your look 😉
The Pleated Skirt
This is why I absolutely adore spring! The pleated skirt is back in every shade possible this season! Pastels have hit it hard on the runway and into our wardrobes to give the soft hues of spring a refreshing look. Complete your outfit with a fitted t-shirt for a casual look or pair the pleated skirt with a loose fitting tank top (chiffon would look best!) for a sleek and professional finish. No matter what you pair this skirt with, it’s impossible to not look good!
Frills & Ruffles Please!
Yes, they are back this season after a long time off the runway! You will find little ruffles on blouses, dresses and bottoms as we make our way through this season. Add a little spring to your wardrobe by pairing a ruffled blouse with a pair of culottes or fitted capri pants. Show off your neck line by putting your hair up in a messy bun. This spanish influence of ruffles and frills will surely make heads turn!
The Culotte Pant
This is my absolute favourite addition to my wardrobe! The pant is worn loose, but its important to find the right size so the pant looks fitted around the waist to give a more feminine look. This spring season introduces a splash of colours for the culotte pant. Wear it casually with a fitted plain white t-shirt and a pair of sandals or dress it up with a ruffled blouse or chiffon shirt. Heels are an absolute key feature to these pants to elongate the feminine silhouette you have been hiding all winter season!
